Popular wisdom holds that this is the restaurant that kicked off the latest round in the fine dining craze in the North Bay. That may or may not be true. What is a fact is that chef Cindy Pawlcyn, who has since been influential in the creation of many other Bay Area restaurants, started here and is still involved in kitchen operations at her flagship restaurant. The atmosphere at Mustards is upscale roadhouse with an airy dining room and walls that are almost entirely made of windows. The staff is lively and and efficient.

Mustards Grill held up its fine reputation! We got there right when it opened and we were seated right away. I’d like to note that we didn’t make reservations. The tables were filling up fast. Our server Andrew was attentive and engaging. Kudos to him and other staff that made our visit quite pleasant. Food was excellent👍🏼

My favorite in Napa Valley!! Love the sweet corn Tamales! Our go to app every visit. Didn't make a reservation as it was last minute day trip. Hostess said it would be about 25 to 30 minute wait so we had a glass of wine at the bar and wa la! only 15 minutes and we were seated! Got my favorite lemon garlic chicken. 2nd time here. Get here right when it opens or make reservations ahead of time. Service is superb and the staff are friendly. I ate at the bar and even though the bar was full the bartender was always on top of whatever I requested. The food is farm to table fresh and you pay for it but worth every penny!

I love their New York Steak dinner and also their Chocolate tart desert with coffee ice cream is the best I ever had. This restaurant has been near my home for years and it is the best so far that I have had dinner at.
The pork chop did not disappoint. I was there alone and was seated at a large, centrally located table. I felt like Frank Sinatra! Host staff and service were all amazing. This place is one of the many things I miss about no longer living in Napa.

We had a late, Friday night dinner as we just rolled in from SFO. Didn’t know what to expect, but I was amazed at their extensive wine list, we couldn’t decide one just one so we went with two wine flights, totally worth it! Then there’s the food.. OMG, amazing! We shared the French onion soup, which was so satisfying and sweet, I had the pork chop and flavor was out of this world!! My fiancé had the duck, it was a bit too Smokey, but all and all a true gem in the Napa valley!
