I don’t understand why parking isn’t free at the HOSPITAL! As a single mother this makes me not even want to take my children here if I gotta pay to be treated. Update I still don’t like coming here the most of the staff is very nice understanding and great with kids the other half needs more training. On Tuesday, 9/16, we brought our 3-month-old daughter to the ER with persistent diarrhea and a fever of 101°F. In infants under 3 months, this is considered clinically significant and requires immediate evaluation, including CBC, blood cultures, stool studies, and urinalysis per pediatric standards of care. Have a grandson in icu right now that is not getting the right care. We told by a surgeon that he didn’t wanna do a surgery because my grandson wasn’t going to make it but he did there was a team of doctors. The surgeon didn’t put a Release Port to release pressure off his brain. We was told by the nurse they was giving Tylenol but he was given fentanyl. Which made his o2 levels drop.

I brought my daughter to Shawn Jenkins after she suffered a burn injury, and I was incredibly impressed by the care we received. There was no wait time, they responded immediately, and every staff member treated us with such kindness and compassion. They spoke gently to my two-year-old, doing everything they could to comfort her during such a scary moment. I can’t thank them enough. In the midst of chaos, they were our calm. Given the circumstances, I wholeheartedly rate this hospital a 10/10.
