I learned how dirty the Rutledge building is. I wore a mask during my entire visit and I still got sick. The building is embarrassingly old, bordering on gross. And the receptionist mocked a guest who has a strutter - TWICE.
horrible interaction where I was belittled and spoken to in such a curt manner by a billing agent and I’ve yet to receive a response to my concerns that I have previously notified MUSC about privately.

This is their motto "Our mission at the MUSC Health Rena N. Grant Sickle Cell Center is to enable South Carolina citizens living with sickle cell disease to thrive physically and mentally through compassionate and innovative care, research, and education." right? Well as a person that goes to this clinic I am saddened to see what it has become and I'm pretty sure Rena N Grant would be disappointed if she was here to see how they are treating her fellow sickle cell warriors.
