Do not go here looking for help. The staff is rude. Takes the doctors days to respond to a message. And judgmental. Dr. Ely is who I saw and without listening to me labeled me and wouldn’t help me. Asked me what would help me? I answered. And judgment. If you want a doctor who doesn’t see things as black and white and can manage to see things from a Birds Eye view….dont go to see Dr. Ely. Dr. Steven Cumberledge is the best doctor I have had in years. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. He cares about his patience and he listen. That’s number one in my book. Ever since I had him as my doctor I have been doing the right thing and taking my meds and making sure I make all my appointments! My Son and I followed him to James Island from North Charleston because my son really likes him and don’t want to be seen by another primary doctor! Thanks so much love Latonya and Michael…..
Dr. Goudarzi is great at visits but I have had issues over and over again with them not putting my prescriptions in as they are supposed to (as the pharmacist explicitly says) and then I have to go through an arduous process every time to get my meds on time, usually having to get them at the last minute which is incredibly frustrating. The doctor knows the frequency with which I take my medication so I don’t know why the prescription is consistently put in incorrectly to the point where the pharmacy tells me they can’t fill... read more
Terrible experience with this doctor and office. Any time you need something, the wait is long (often 2–3 weeks). The doctor seems unwilling to help, and I’ve had to seek care elsewhere rather than being able to coordinate through my primary care provider. A specialist at MUSC recommended that my primary physician handle a certain prescription, but my primary refused, which was frustrating. Dr. Jon Mcgough, MD has been my husband's PCP for approx. 5 years. DR Mcgough is kind, an excellent listener, patient, and very astute with etiology of symptoms. He educates the patient and family well as to the plan of care. Dr. Mcgough is one of the best physicians we have ever encountered.
