Twice my junk cars have been towed (2024 & 2026) by Murray’s towing and both times Fran, who I believe is the owner, has worked with me to come to a reasonable arrangement (btw both times I reached out 2-3 months after the tow date). Even though he didn’t have to, and could have profited greatly off of my illegal parking, he waived all the fees the first time, and the majority the second time, as well as cancelling the court process for vehicle abandonment in the same hour that I had reached out. I want to sincerely thank Murray’s Towing for their outstanding service. After calling every towing company in Burlington and Woburn with no luck, Murray’s was the only one that responded right away — and they arrived within 30 minutes. Our tow truck driver, Zack, was exceptional. His communication was excellent, and he was caring, patient, and very flexible. Murray’s Tow in Woburn is one of the shadiest towing companies I’ve ever dealt with. They quoted me $180 for a short 15-minute tow, and everything seemed fine until we got to the destination. That’s when the driver switched up and said I had to pay another $75 or he wouldn’t drop my car. Straight extortion. When I tried calling the office to sort it out, they refused to answer my calls. I had my car tow from my apartment complex, they charged me $262 for barely 2-3 hours and this place is highly incompetent. They cannot process card payments I had to wait an hour for them to get basic paper works done. They need all details to be told 2-3 to understand some basic stuff even after giving them license they cannot lookup my name properly. They charge even debit card a convenience fee of 3.99%. They are absolutely the worst of the worst when it comes to competency.
