Probably the worst therapist I've seen. Dr. Murray is moody, you never know "who" he is going to be at each appointment. He has double-booked multiple times (given someone else an appointment at the same time as mine and then saying he's sorry -- but I've had to reschedule and spend the money to drive out for the missed appointment because of his disorganization), which doesn't make me feel like much of a priority as a patient. He calls me up at home and apologizes endlessly, but it is really irritating that he isn't better ... read more
It's hard to trust someone, especially when the person you trusted the most is the one who betrayed you. That someone is Dr. Scott Murray. His breach of trust was worse than the painful things in my life that I went to see him about in the first place. I don't think the man has a conscience, much less a heart.
Dr. Murray shattered my trust. He overstepped professional boundaries, violated confidentiality, and abandoned me during a crisis. At first I blamed myself for it all, believing I must have done something wrong as a patient for him to do these things, but I am learning through a new therapist that the things Dr. Murray did to me were wrong, that he did not act in a professional manner, and this is not the way most therapists behave toward patients. 30 yrs ago I was offered diversion following a dui. Dr. Murray was in charge on the program and after interviewing each person you were assigned to 1 of 5 groups. You did not have a choice as to which group, if you wanted to complete the course then you showed up to the group sessions. When I went to my first session I was surprised that I was the only female. Once the session started with Dr. Murray leading, I quickly figured out that all the guys were sex offenders. Dr. Murray was using me as a guinea pig to see how the me... read more

Not a great doctor. Seems moody and disinterested. I ended up going to another doctor.
