Paul Murphy has refinished several pieces for us. The latest was our multi-leaf dining room table, which had seen 28 years of kid-abuse. Paul brought it back to looking brand new and gorgeous. He also refinished my oak coffee table, which originally had a light, pasty finish. Now it looks like a completely new and beautiful table, with a natural and glossy finish. I cannot recommend Paul's work more.
In my capacity as Head of Hotels for JRK I worked closely with Paul Murphy to restore our touch up our high end hotel furniture. He’s a professional and restored to new. Highly recommend Murphys Touch for all your fine wood work.
Paul is a genius at fixing, refinishing or transforming furniture. He has applied his skills to several of our pieces. Not only were they fixed and/or improved, but the work blended seamlessly and invisibly into the piece, therefore keeping or even raising its initial value. We collect vintage, mid-century, Scandinavian furniture and Paul, at Murphy's Touch, is the ONLY person we'll even think of going to for maintenance and/or repair. Paul is a master craftsman. He keeps our hotel looking pristine, adds years to our product and really helps elevate our hotel. He has an incredible level of detail and precision, truly exceptional. We have worked with Paul for almost a decade. He is a throwback and a pleasure to work with.
