The wait was more than we thought, but worth it. The staff takes as much time as needed to make sure you are ok.The food was amazing and the wine server really knew how to educate us on the proper wine selection with our meal.
Location: Right off of the street and in the same plaza as Yogli Mogli. Parking is a bit tight and they do not offer much parking space, so I recommend finding a spot on the side of the street and then walking. I love love love Murphys! It is a quaint cozy restaurant in Virginia highlands. I am a sucker for complimentary bread and theirs is delish! I almost always gets the roasted chicken because it simply amazing. The brisket is also very good. Their menu is seasonal but these two dishes seem to always be on the menu. I highlight recommend Murphys if you're in the highlands.
Great atmosphere, and the service was excellent. The braised brisket was amazing, as was the truffle mac and cheese.
Always a delicious brunch or lunch spot. They have an adorable little patio that looks out over the Highlands if you can get a spot - if not, the interior bistro-style space is also cute! It's definitely a VaHi staple.
Lovely little spot. The location is key right in the heart of Virginia Highlands. They have a great little patio which makes a perfect setting for a nice lunch.
Phenomenal food and service! Sunday brunch is the best. Get there early or make reservations to avoid long wait times- although it is worth the wait.
We have been regulars here since 1985. The food is always great and the service is consistently great. The kids menu is wonderful - real, tasty food at good prices. And they are polite to the children.
One my all time favorites. Great food wine and atmosphere in VaHi. Has stood test of time. Good brunch too.
