Good Experience w/ Murphy's Investments – I had a really positive experience with Murphy's Investments. They were very nice and responsive from the beginning of my interactions with them. Every time I needed something fixed in my apartment, it was taken care of within a day or two. Nice apartments...helpful staff – I highly recommend Murphy Investments...I rented a studio with Murphy Investments, after seven months i inquired into transfering to a one bedroom apt, which they accomodated even though i was still within my lease period. I lived in the one bedroom for nine months then got a job offer in the South Bay again they accomodated me...since I was still within my lease on the second place I held open houses and a new tenant was found. Rent at your own risk – I rented from Murphy Apartments for a year, and when moving out Murphy stole a good portion of my security deposit and broke a number of laws in the process. I've consulted a number of lawyers who all confirm that Murphy is in the wrong, but I have to go through a lengthy small claims court process to get my money back. I'd rent from them at your own risk.
