Well, I tried to use this company because of some of the reviews. However after two days with appointment scheduled nobody showed up. Tried to give them a 2nd chance with 8:00 am appt again. spoke with tech said he would be here no show. I do not recommend unless you enjoy frustration
You hear horror stories about contractors which is why I feel it's so important to post positive feedback for the good ones. Murphy Family Electric are rock stars. I wanted to install a whole house surge suppressor. This is an electrical component that acts like any other surge suppressor but for your whole home. This means it covers things like appliances and HVAC which would be difficult to use with an individual surge suppressor. We have used them several times at our home in Portland, Oregon and at some of the properties we manage. They prices are reasonable, especially in this time of inflation. Always polite, patient and get their work done quickly. Thank you Murphy Family.
I love that you can easily book online. Neko was our electrician and he was prompt and I appreciated how he explained everything to me before he did the work. They do charge a lot for parts but if you know what you need ahead of time that helps cut down on some of the cost! Thanks Neko for your great work!
Our wall heaters went out over the weekend, and Stan from Murphy Family Electric was able to come out by lunchtime on Monday to fix a wiring issue to get our heat back. I was impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable Stan was, since the issue wasn't straightforward, yet he solved it within 30 minutes. That night, the temperature dropped into the 20s, so having our heat back was huge!
