I was having chest pain and rang for a nurse and got no response. I rang again with same results so I pulled out the nitro from my pants pocket just as a nurse arrived. She took my nitro and said that was not allowed and they were waiting for doctor's approval. Long story made short, for the first time in a hospital I said the Lord's prayer because I thought I might die! Never, never again!!
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Munson Hospital. Despite being diagnosed with an L5-S1 compression, bone spurs, disc dessiciation , and bulging disc with absolute stenosis of the spine previously at an MRI evaluation and clearly expressing that I was in severe pain, I was offered absolutely no pain management options. I have been at er a hand full of times. Twice admitted. I have had a good experience. The doctors and nurses have been very professional. If i am in pain I don't have to wait. Thankful they were able to find my cellulitus. Which can be very dangerous.
This hospital is a HORRIBLE since Munson took over... I was here today with my 79 year old mother who was having a female issue and the lack of professionalism demonstrated from the PA Mr. Nolan and the little snotty witch of a nurse Marissa was not only shocking but actually quite disgusting...
