Very disappointing that Munson Medical Center provides a service of Ask A Nurse yet you can’t get them to answer the phone to ask questions. They are a 24 hr/7 day a week service. FYI: please note I am not looking for excuses of why this is happening. I would like answers on how you will correct this concern. Don’t provide a service if you won’t mandate it. I spent over a minute waiting for someone to answer my call with at least two contacts back to back. Shame on MMC!!!!!!!!!
What a disappointment this fiasco was! As an RN and a former employee of Munson, to go through all steps on the Ask A Nurse site and have my credit card (not 1 but 2 with a perfect credit score) denied was unforgivable! Thank God the problem was resolved. The Munson staff needs to get their act in order! Beverly McCamman
My boyfriend just had hernia surgery and there's a lot about home care that can be confusing and scary. I was so relieved to be able to get a hold of someone late at night to answer our questions. Thank you for saving us a panicked ER visit lol
Thurs.Jan. 2, 2025 I cancelled an appointment with my PCP, too ill to leave the house. The nurse said she would get a nurse to triage symptoms. That nurse made an appt . In Grayling. I was too weak to go around the corner to PCP in Roscommon, but expected to keep an appointment in a town north of where I live!?!?!? My symptoms are the same my husband is being treated for, by the same PCP!?!! I asked to have Dr Thornton prescribe for me, was sent in this infinite circle of NO treatment. Not happy, would not recommend. .
I have called a few times for my baby and the nurses are always friendly, knowledgeable, and take their time. This is a valuable service. Thank you.
