Really enjoyed MUN Steakhouse! The atmosphere is nice and feels perfect for a date night, and their cocktails are really pretty too. We got the $65 per person set, which I thought was a great value — four kinds of meat plus a whole table of side dishes. They also grill everything for you and ask how well-done you want your meat, so it’s super easy and relaxing. Weekend valet parking is also a nice plus in Ktown!
My friends and I went on the 14th. We were greeted by the owner he was very kind and personable helped us choose or food and gave us tips on the best way to eat it. The OMG more than enough food for 5, 10/10 food experience. I’m still thinking about the wasabi salt combo and the cheese fondue (corn cheese). My new favorite spot in LA. Also if you get a steamed egg just know the portion is huge and you can split. The banchan was so good. They don't pretend to be an authentic kbbq restaurant. They are aiming to be a higher mid end steakhouse. Cool - I wanted to try the concept. What I got was the worst quality chewy meat I have ever had. Even their most expensive short rib cut. Truly awful stuff. I paid $78 for one person a la cart, no drinks - and it was absolutely not worth it (see the picture). **If you do want to splurge on truly prime korean meats go to soowan galbi.
