Dr Fissha is amazing, he has an amazing bedside manor!!! I never feel rushed when seeing him, he is through and answers all of my questions. I can't say enough about how much I am blessed to have him as part of my list of health care professionals. Thank you Dr. Fissha!

I will never go to this doctor again after two nightmare procedures and the inability of his office staff during numerous calls to returns calls after having waited a very very long time just to get someone on the phone. The procedures he performed did not help and after he told me he was prescribing something for my pain I found out he actually prescribed a medication that said it could not be given to someone who had had a heart attack like me. Before he finished the second cath, I was literally crying and begging him to s... read more

I was introduced to Dr. Fissha several years ago when I was admitted to the Oviedo hospital with AFIB. He was extremely professional, caring and through. He took the time to explain what was going on and listened to my concerns. During my follow-up visit(s), he has continued to be very caring and always takes the time to explain current and future treatment options. I have met many cardiologists over the years, as both my parents had heart issues, and Dr. Fissha is genuinely one of the best.

Business response:

We're so glad you shared your experience with Dr. Fissha with us, Larry. It's always good to hear our patients have had a positive experience with us, and we'll be sure to pass along your kind words! Stay well!

Dr. Fissha was on call at my last visit at the hospital. He was excellent he took time listening to my issues asked me lots of questions and answered my questions. Did not rush out of my room like most Dr’s do at the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Fissha.

Dr. Fissha is an extremely knowledgeable cardiologist. He takes the time to explain everything to you, and always has a plan-B. I eventually had a Heart Transplant. Thank God for his mercy, grace and connecting me to Dr. Fissha at Oviedo Hospital.

Make an appointment, show up on time and wait an hour after your appointed time. Pushes pills. Didn't help. Solution? Increase the dosage and try an additional pill. Every visit results in an additional pill/pills to take. Other doctors advised me to find another cardiologist. Orders tests but no one follows up on results. Sets appointments by sending a postcard "advising" you when your next appointment is (50 miles from home and not at the office you've gone to for a year.

Dr. Fissha saw me January 3rd and implanted a pacemaker January 5th. He thoroughly explained the need for the placement. His demeanor instilled confidence in me. The follow-up appointment went very well and we are very pleased to recommend him and his practice to anyone needing a cardiologist!!

My husband had a heart attack a month ago. We did not have a cardiologist and the hospital assigned the on call physician. We feel like we lucked out big time with Dr. Fissha. He was able to do the heart cath via the wrist. He ended up placing a stent and my husband is good as new. Thank you Dr. Fissha for your professionalism, your ability and your fantastic bedside manner! We’ll be seeing you in 6 months! David and Becky Smith
