The person on the line said this was a mental health crisis line while he was literally the most unsympathetic and impatient person I literally had to say can I answer the question because he was like yes or no yes or no after I already tried to answer but because it wasnt a yes or no answer he lost his patience. Not okay. Grown man btw sounded elderly.

Horrible as can be don't go here and don't ask for help from the state only drugs saying things will get better and police showing up same the same things

Attempted suicide. Received a visit. Then received a phone call offering a point of contact as a resource, and then promising a follow-up call. 4 days later, the call didn't happen. I've been promised 3 separate followups, none of which have happened. I can appreciate that this is a volunteer service, but don't make promises to someone who's ready to end their life if you aren't able to fulfill them. I am fortunate that I have partners who are helping and I have discovered a support system, but others may not be so fortunate... read more

Not only did the crisis line just straight up hang up and call the cops on my friend, they actively harassed him for being disabled. Don't trust these bigots with an ounce of your mental health; you'll just be left with one ounce less.
