I was able to get a last minute appointment for my kid. Check in was quick and professional. The room we were in was clean and the nurse and MD, Dr Khan were very kind, put my kid at ease, provided thorough care and provided clear guidance.
I did a walk in for what was diagnosed as a baterial sinus infection. I got a prescription for a 10 day course of amoxicillin. I called after the 9th day and told them I still had symptoms and wanted the doctor to give me a refill or prescribe something else. I was told they would contact me after the doctor (nurse practitioner) reviewed my case. I called again the next morning and was told the provider had not had time to look at my case. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. This review is NOT for the James center location. To be very clear, this review is for indigo at Ruston way in Tacoma. On 4/21, I took my 10 month old daughter to indigo at James center for a splotchy red rash. Here, we received excellent and timely care. The doctors and nurses were lovely, they gave our baby a small dose of a steroid and told us to come back tomorrow if the rash returned. Worst experience ever. Will not recommend this place to anyone. They only care about money and take your health for granted. I visited this place for viral infection, and they turned me back with no medication. They did all the useless testing like Covid etc. and made false promise to prescribe medication next day after the test results. My symptoms really worsened overnight and when contacted them to expedite the test results or prescribe the antiviral medication, they refused to do so until test results are back.
