I went in for an examination and surgery consultation. They explained what was needed and how the procedure would be done. They also answered questions I had. Excellent service.
My surgeon was Lisa Schomogyi, MD. Friends who work in medicine locally were singing her praises, and once we met for the consultation, I could understand why they recommended her. She is very thorough and has a wonderful, calm demeanor. Day of surgery she went over my questions again and went out of her way to look for something I'd requested in case it was needed. I have healed perfectly and am thrilled with the results. The whole team at Cedar Surgical Associates and their affiliated surgery center were wonderful.
I mentioned to the doctor that I have a history of eating disorder and she told me to "lose a significant amount of weight and come back" for proper treatment. So basically she denied treating me because im fat. Also she "corrected" me when I said I was fat, saying that "we dont say fat" and tried to redirect me to BMI. Overall the worst possible outcome, I left extremely upset and would not go back. Ever. DO NOT VISIT THIS DOCTORS OFFICE. especially if you're fat.
