Went there last night with abdominal pain. Was triaged within the first hour, no IV, labs were never drawn, nausea and pain never treated. Symptoms began worsening so I requested to be reassessed and simply was told that all of the beds were full. I continued to ask if there was a nurse I could speak with, if there was a first nurse available, ensuring the full lobby of patients were ok and their conditions were not worsening. I am going on my fifth hour waiting to be helped, yeah lots of computer data entry and then nothing: no care or even diagnosis. Just sitting, no one paying any attention to poor little me and my injury. Hello, it’s Saturday morning, now afternoon and the department is not busy, lots of none work related chatter.
