I just met with Dr. Mulligan. He was quiet, polite, and listened to my concerns and answered my questions thoroughly. Very professional. He explained in detail what to expect before and after surgery for a hip replacement. Very informative! I saw him for a second opinion since I am not fond of my previous ortho, surgeon who is loud and abrupt and abrasive. That surgeon said I needed BOTH hips replaced. Worst experience EVER with a doctor. Was sent by my Dr. to see Dr. Mulligan regarding swelling in my left ankle and pain associated during my exercise. When he came in he was immediately agitated that I was sent to him. He told me I should never have been referred to him. I'm not a doctor myself and can only put faith in my own physician for sending me. In the end he told me to stop exercising and do what other people at the age of 51 were doing. Not a lie! Not even an exaggeration.
