I had a bladder scan and it showed a fatty liver. My PCP sent me to Dr. Sheikh. This was a life saver for me. Diagnosed with NAFLD. Boarder line severe. Luckily no fibrosis so there is time for me to save my liver. He explained everything to me and stressed to me how important it is for me to change my life style and turn things around. Dr. Sheikh is energetic, with personality plus. I feel lucky to have found him. He is caring & thorough, determined to find the problem. His Staff is always helpful, and keep his busy practice running smoothly.
My wife has (NASH) Liver disease and he caught it early and does very close monitoring and treatment. We drive 70 miles each way to go to this Doctor and its worth it. He currently has numerous clinical trials regarding (NASH) going. My wife is unable to participate in a trial due to a more severe condition. The Best Doctor, really listens to his patients and monitor's their health closely. Extremity knowledgeable. The staff is great also and very helpful.
Very easy to talk to. takes his time explaining your exam results, and what they mean. Very personable and never makes the patient feel rushed.
My husband was diagnosed with a rare condition where the muscles in his esophagus stopped working and nothing would go into the stomach, he was referred to a local dr who told him that there was nothing that could be done for him. His primary dr referred him to Dr. Sheikh who diagnosed the problem and literally saved my husbands life. Although his problem is rare Dr. Sheikh has worked with him and we are so grateful. He gets 10 stars in our book.
Poor communication, long wait times and surly staff. He made me wait for an hour and didn’t seem to care. I felt he and his staff were more interested in generating insurance billings than providing patient care.
Dr Sheikh is knowledgable and professional and he did a great job handling my situation.
Love this Doctor he is the best, you are in great hands with his office, nurses and him. I greatly recommend him in the highest regard. He took great care of me with my inflammation in my stomach and my hiatal hernia.
