Excellent surgeon. Explained the process thoroughly and answered my questions. Empathetic and good bedside manner. Quick recovery and I’m happy with the outcome. I would choose him again and recommend others to seriously consider him as well.
Dr Riaz did my lumbar TLIF surgery in 2020. I was not informed about possible negative outcomes and, unfortunately, experienced several. I woke from surgery with drop foot and what has become permanent nerve damage, resulting in a pain level that is far beyond what was supposed to be resolved by the surgery. I now have worsened back pain and constant nerve pain in my leg, and no sensation in my foot.
