I have been to the drive in many times, but never to the cafe. A slightly larger selection, but the same great food and service.

Back to the 60s. Black Cow wonderfully unchanged with their own root beer.
First time eating here, food had a funny after taste, fryer oil needed to be changed. They didn't even leave a tray so we could eat there.
Hey everybody in metro KC area. Remember MUGS-UP? If you loved this iconic root beer drive-in as much as myself and my family . . . you will be as thrilled as I am to learn they have opened a "MUGS-UP DINER" in the old Englewood area of Independence Missouri! So cool! Totally retro to the 1950s . . . cannot wait to check this out and enjoy a chili dog, or a "zip-burger' and a frosty cold mug of ROOT BEER! <3
First time trying this place today! we loved the whiz burgers and the root beer. Our little one had her first taste of root beer ever and fell in love begging for more.
