Soup is delicious. My family really enjoyed our meal here. I have celiac and can only eat GF which made it a bit tricky. The soup was very tasty, but I’d be cautious if you have celiac. I explained that I have celiac and ordered the shio ramen with GF rice noodles. I was assured everything was GF, but before eating I learned the GF noodles were cooked in the same water as the regular ramen. Calling this Japanese food is doing a serious disservice to Japanese cuisine. Everything we tried was bland, clumsy, and completely lacking in finesse, and the “sake” was just as depressing. If you know and love real Japanese food, save yourself the disappointment and stay far away from this place.
Mugen Noodle was SO good. Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had, and the noodles alone are worth coming back for. Absolutely incredible texture, amazing flavor, and you can tell there’s a ton of care put into every bowl. Everything we tried was delicious, but I seriously cannot get over the noodles. If you’re in Hood River and love ramen, this place is a must. We’ll absolutely be back!
