I Really Want to Love this Place I live right down the street, and I would love nothing more than to have a great cafe nearby. Unfortunately the coffee aint so great, it's generally a little messy and the service is horrible--HORRIBLE. Bad busness owner What a nasty boss and he doesn't even pay. He says he will pays cash and then no money for perople who are working hard, who wait and await. I wish this not true. It is pretty to see it, a nice looking place. So sad fo r us.
Not worth finding a place to park The ambience is nice - nice art, pleasant surroundings - but that's about it. The coffee is dreadful, and the employees are rude, slow, and incompetent. They act like they're doing you a favor to take your order.
Not your typical BartSucks but charges BartSucks prices. The Mudpuppy the communities coffeehouse. It belongs to the Arroyo and the Arroyo to it . It has good food and good pastries. The coffee drinks and coffee are delicious. The bottled sodas superb. I urge all small groups and students to meet and study here. Come sit outdoors and take in the garden, the colors of the Arroyo, and the gorgeous passersby. But prepare yourself by reenforce your wallet. Because unlike neighboring Panaderias the Mudpuppy has Westside prices.
Great Coffeeshop in an Old House Do you care more about the environment of your coffee house than the name of your coffee drink? Then, this place is for you. It is housed in a turn of the century house that was remodeled by the owners who live nearby in Montecito Heights.
