Thursday karaoke with KJ Trish. We are regulars and it is a fun place to go. We celebrated my boyfriend Steve's birthday this past Thursday with friends. This is a CHEERS kinda place. All friends and everyone knows your name so we partied with the whole restaurant. The ambiance is tropical, the food is great. Juan was our server. He was awesome. He and Pam the manager made sure we were happy and cared for. We love this place.
For the most part the food is ok ! We walked out tonight 3/1/18 I have been there a few times and never had a problem getting separate checks. Tonight the young waiter came to ask us for a drink order and or getting us water. We barely could tell him what we wanted and he would start walking away (omg I hate that) then after we told him what we wanted ... I said we wanted a separate check for the four of us. Such a cool atmosphere, and great food (our son said the burger was amazing)! The oysters were great, and the price was ridiculously cheap! The poor waiter was training a less than stellar waitress - he was running around like crazy, the poor kid (and, to quote her, “I don’t care, I’m just in training). Great place for drinks , food, and fun . Bartenders are fast and friendly .
Wish we could say we had a great bday lunch here today but no. Waited 45 minutes for our food, 10 minutes for a drink refill, and paid $30 each meal for soggy sweet potato fries with watered down honey mustard and a soft shell crab sandwich with a tiny piece of crab. Our waitress was nice an that is the two stars.

Visited today for the first time, I heard things about it. I ordered the mahi tacos and it was a 4/5 they were delicious! My overall experience was a 2-3... I gave a 3 because it was my first time there. The only 3 suggestions I would make is 1. Better plating, I ordered take out but the tacos were a bit messy- turned on the side with the content coming out. 2.
