Muddy's is absolutely amazing!! I have to go by there everytime I'm in Memphis.
Haven't had Muddy's in a year. Husband stopped got a half dozen and they were horrible. Dry, old, and crusty. Super disappointed considering 2.50 each. ( threw 3 away- that is how bad they were)
My family and I have done taste tests two different times with Muddy's and compared them to Gigi's (once) and Frost (once). Muddy's wins HANDS DOWN. Flavor, moist, and no weird aftertaste! I can't say enough good things about Muddy's.
Always amazing treats and awesome hospitality. I suggest the chocolate Prozac cupcakes for anyone craving a chocolaty moment of heavenly bliss! :)
Very disappointed that a Memphis staple won't do a lactose free custom cake for my 3 year old's birthday. Was told they absolutely can't stray from their recipe to do this type of cake.
Just had my first Muddy's cupcake today at the Germantown Regions bank opening and holy smokes! I totally understand what all the hype is about!!!! I had just a "plain" ole vanilla but there was nothing plain about it. So so delicious! You've just gained some new customers!
