MTD Services, Michael Todd Disharoon, takes your money and then claims he doesn't have money to do your job. Signed contract in Oct. 12, 2023 and job was finally finished on February 6th, by someone else. Mr. Disharoon owes me money.
Takes your money and then says they don't have any money to finish the job. Where exactly did the money go? Simple job that should have taken a month to do, we lost our patience months ago.
MTD Services was contracted to manage design and construct 2 large dormers (front and back) on the 2nd floor above a converted garage space. The renovated space was previously a finished room with sloped ceilings. The project included upgrading the existing floor framing to meet code requirements and the addition of a new roofing system. There were several obstacles (existing HVAC ductwork, and existing electrical layout) that had to be solved. The remodeling job has taken too long!! Its outside the agreed upon time in the contract. They have requested over 90% of the funds in the contract. There's no communication, no reasons given why the work has not been completed and none of the plumbing has been tested to ensure functionality. We've been extremely patient. We have met with the homeowners, and have scheduled for all work to be completed. The homeowners will update this complaint once we are completed. The bathroom is 90% done. We have hired a new project manager, and things should level out soon.
6/2/2021 Re: Breach of Contract To Whom It May Concerns: I am writing to you today to explain a bad experience I had with MTD Services, LLC. They have breached the agreement that we both signed and dated on January 29, 2021, in the amount of $30,000.00 for the total renovation of my MBR and Bath. It was definitely an unfortunate situation, and experience. We had no problem honoring exactly what our contract said, as well as to complete it. To be clear, MTD Services, LLC is a licensed and insured residential builder. All of my guys that were on Mrs ******* project work directly for MTD Services, LLC. They don't have to be licensed. They rebuilt my porch and roof they did a great job. Everyone one that was here worked very hard and were very professional and explained everything that they were doing. Mr. Todd D******** stayed in contact with the whole time. I will definitely call them back for several projects that i need done
MTD Services did my master bath remodel. Todd D******** spent time with me helping me to finalize a design plan. The project manager and all of the subcontractors were professional, polite and accommodating. Responsive when called with questions and very patient with me in helping me to understand the process and in making best choices. Budget came in as expected which was quite reasonable. The finished product is beautiful and exactly what I was hoping to achieve.
