Pros - Location! Hard to beat with Hawthorne shops and restaurants at your doorstep and Mt. Tabor a 15 minute walk away. - Hardwood floors - Charm and character - Closet is large for ample storage with built-in drawers - Parking. I've lived here since July of 2019, and I've gotten about what I expected. My studio cost 900 for a little over 300 square feet. Utilities separate. It works for me but I think a flat rate for water/sewage, that you see in other builders would be attractive and keep costs predictable. Also just lowering the rent. Times are hard for a lot of people right now and I can't imagine the market can bare it. Tiny studio at $995, utilities are paid separately, so we are paying around 1.100 for 328sqft. Lead in paint (BE VERY CAREFUL). Tiny studio, with ancient counter tops, cabinets, etc. The building is really nice, with thick brick walls, and the hardwood floors are a plus. The closets are a joke, so tiny you can't fit anything in, but they allow you storage room in the basement which is nice.
