Had my hip replaced by Dr. Steven Harwin. The surgeon and hospital did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them.

Where do I start. It has been a blessing thus far to have the medical team caring for our beloved mom. God knows all things and prepares our path. From hour to hour we await her recovery and the team is effectively and effortlessly kind and attentive. The greatest piece of medicine or being a person centered team is compassion. This is not taught it is a personal trait that each person here we have come in contact with has. From Surgical Team to Janitorial staff. Great institution thus far. Thank you, Sobia Family❣️

At 5:45 am on Wednesday morning the MSW ambulance drove past my apt with sirens on. There was no traffic. This happens with some frequency. How does this promote the health of those that are sleeping?
WHEELCHAIR USERS BEWARE: Hospitals are places where you might expect to find a few wheelchair-accessible restrooms. But now I’m remembering that Mount Sinai West isn’t really one of those places. And I’m just a visitor. I’d like to hope that inpatient rooms are at least better equipped... especially in a facility that was built in 1990. But I’m told they only exist on the rehab floor for patients, and in a few private rooms, but only if you can afford to pay for those.
