I was admitted through the E. R. Department on 3/29/17 as per my PCP Dr. Clinton Damron. From the moment I walked into the Emergency Room I was greeted promptly, registered and taken swiftly to an ER Bay and taken care of fast. Every person I encountered at MGRMC was very professional, courteous and an extreme pleasure to be around. The place was extremely clean the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was excellent. I ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF INCOMPETENCE AT MTGRAHAM ER. I went to the ER on August 17th 2016 with the most excruciating pain in my artificial hip. They sent me home with nausea medicine. It took 2 weeks before I could get to see Dr Rex Brice. He sent me to the ER and they immediately flew me to Banner Medical Center in Tucson, and then into surgery where they lanced 2 fist sized abscesses, one in my hip and the other in my shoulder (where the staphylococcus auras had gravitated to during the 2 weeks that I festered between see... read more
I wouldn't even give them a corner of a star but had to put something. This hospital is a fucking joke. They are the most ignorant doctors and staff that I've ever seen. They actually told my friend that why she was puking was because of withdrawal to medical marijuana...are you fucking kidding me you dumb asses. Marijuana is a mental addiction not physical so there are no withdrawals. The nurse and Dr. Cared for my Lil girl made her feel good. I was happy the diagnosis came back really quick and found out she had pneumonia and they took care of her! Thank you for the experience that I had this time cuz usually I don't have a good one :-)

I could tell the ER staff didn't even care. I'm sure they wanted to go back to their movies or naps behind the nurses station. They treated me like they didn't believe how much pain I was really in. And when the nurse put in the IV, she held my arm down causing bruising other than what iv port caused. She kept wiggling the needle around causing me more pain not only to my arm, but to my stomach as well. When they released me and removed the IV, the nurse was not gentle at all. Shout out to Al Summers! Not only did he do his very best to calm my daughter, he checked in on her multiple times, and even brought her a ty baby! The staff was very compassionate and quick! Even tho it wasn't where WE wanted to be, they made our stay the BEST it could be!
