Although our visit ended in an ambulance ride to Tucson I can't say enough good things about the Emergency Room. Looking beyond the "probable cause", ordered bloodwork and other tests revealed an improbable but eminently treatable reason for my husband's serious symptoms. In many ways I feel they saved by husband's life.

I got sick in Dec I went to your er where they told me it was just a stomach bug. The next day I doubled over in pain and returned to your er. They ran a cat scan and litterly the treating doctor told me I had some swelling in my intestine. That it was most likely a potatoe chip. I kept getting more and more sick. I could write a book about why you should go straight to Tucson. Just one thing out of many, may have left a foreign body inside me when they closed me up. Small thug hurts like hell when shirt rubs on it. Oncologist in Tucson is monitoring. As I was told and ignored, take the drive to Tucson or Phoenix. Unless majorly life threatening. Was in ICU 3 days, in a room 5. Most sleep I guess it at a time was 45 minutes. Nurses have parties it sounds like at night....Surgeon said 99% sure what he took out was lymphoma cancer. This medical facility fired a security guard simply because of the length of his hair and that he has a beard. Nothing in their handbook has any regulation on this and multiple other staff have longer hair and beards yet this hardworking man was humiliated and fired simply because of this. This absolutely is discrimination. I wouldn’t step foot in this facility if my arm was cut off. This is an unacceptable situation and borders on illegal if it isn’t illegal.
