Great spot with really good food. The momos are handmade and taste authentic. We tried the paneer masala and the butter masala and both were fantastic, especially the butter masala which stood out as the best of the dishes we ordered. Service was also excellent. The gentleman working went above and beyond, checking in often to make sure everything was good and that we had what we needed. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place we will come back to.
I really hate to leave a negative review because I was so excited to try this place and really wanted to love it. We started with the yak momos. The dumplings themselves were warm and the yak filling reminded me of a tender, very meaty flavored ground beef. Unfortunately, the dipping sauce was refrigerator-cold, which created an odd contrast with the warm dumplings. The sauce was also quite mild in both heat and flavor. I stopped by here for lunch and was really impressed by the bold flavors and how authentic everything tasted. The dumplings were cooked perfectly and had such a savory, delicious filling that kept me wanting more. It is a nice, low-key spot where you can tell the food is made with care, and I definitely left feeling very happy and satisfied.
My go-to for comfort food in Boise. I love it here. Their butter chicken is amazing. My boyfriend really liked their biryani. I had the gulab jamun once. I didn't really like it, but I'm pretty sure that was just personal taste, since I don't super love things that are too sweet. I bet that you'd love it though, if you do like really sweet desserts.
