You know we’ve been to the restaurant at the lodge many times for lunch and it has always been fantastic. We go there only for lunch because it is a bit of a drive for us. This past week we had friends come in for a visit from the UK. Because we had a full day planned I said let’s try breakfast. It was absolutely increadable! What the hell am I supposed to do now? "Very Wonderful Hospitality"! Our family really enjoyed eating The Delicious Huge Burgers, Excellent French Onion Soup, Biscayne & Spinach Salad along with the nice & warm fireplace burning. It's breathtaking just looking at thee most gorgeous mountains all the while you're eating! I highly recommend it!
We always like taking a drive up there no matter the weather, it's a nice break from the norm in Las Vegas. We think the Mt Charleston lodge is also a choice stop for us and is the main reason why we go up there but the food is super expensive for the amount of food you end up getting, it's about 3 out of 5 stars to be honest but we still enjoy our times up there.

There is SO MUCH MORE to "Vegas" and, Mt. Charleston is one of the tops on my suggestions list to locals and visitors. The restaurant has ALWAYS provided excellent service as well as extremely TASTY food! Manager "Thomas" seems to always be there AND seems to always make it to tables to ask how everything was. Truly cool staff and really rustic ambiance. OH! If you have a dog friendly dog, bring Fido up and you can sit on the special deck for people with pooches!
