A great place to get away for locals. Anyone that complains doesn't understand the surroundings or is too critical.
Beautiful drive up to the Lodge for hot chocolate. Don’t forget to make a reservation if you want to eat.

We love to go up to the mountain and pass by this lodge for Mt. Charleston special which is coffee with drambuie, (hazelnut liquor), brandy, cognac & vanilla milk. Dining by the fireplace is so romantic. The staff are friendly. Please make a reservation to get seated but if they’re not busy, they may accommodate you. Try to call before you lose signal though.
