Great atmosphere!
Took my husband there for Father`s Day. Paper menu with very few items. They were out of half the items to make dinner. Screaming kids. Service was bad.
Use to go here often (since the 80’s), but not anymore. Today a hostess lied to my wife about seating us on the patio with our dog. She stated they weren’t serving people on the patio as we watched serves bring food and drinks to patrons. Why weren’t we seated? My youngest daughter is black. When confronted, the hostess threatened my wife and hid so we couldn’t get a picture of her. When did you start serving racism here? I’ll be spreading this everywhere Mt. Charleston Lodge.
I love it here. All levels of hiking available away from the heat and noise of Vegas. All my training for Havasupai could be done here. Gorgeous scenery and backwoods camping is allowed!
Scenery and the smell of pinewood. I dont mind waiting for my food to arrive while enjoying the moment.
We found the scenery absolutely stunning. We visited here whilst on holiday in Las Vegas, it was well worth the short drive out of Vegas. Temperatures were a lot cooler than in Vegas which was pleasant. We went to the lodge for lunch, a nice burger, the lodge looks out over a lovely mountain backdrop. Be sure to check out the Navajo Indian lady selling genuine hand made jewellery, she is happy to explain the Indian spiritual connection with everything she makes.
