It was not a very good experience. The management changed over every 2-3 months in the time I was there. They promised me one unit, then tried to move me into a different unit without telling me. I had a few other problems as well. The neighborhood is not bad, but a little checkered. Rent went up, so I decided to move. There are many better options in Wichita. I found a place where I pay much less and am happier, but overall, not a terrible spot.
Last year they shut down the pool the week we had record high temperatures. Maintenance requests take forever. I upgraded to a 2BR and renewed my lease and the ac was not working properly. It wouldn’t cool the apartment below 76degrees, getting up to 81 when we would cook and it took them over a week to get it fixed. Took over 2 weeks to get my mailbox key. Two stars simply because of location and the fact they accepted online ESA certs for my pets.
MT. CARMEL IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE AND DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THE NEEDS OF THEIR TENANTS. THEY AVOIF THEM AND ALSO DO NOT ANSWER CALLS OR EMAILS. THEY DO LAZY WORK AND WILL SAY THAT THEY HELPED YOU WHEN THEY DIDNT. I DO NOT AND WILL NEVER SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO ANYONE
My husband and I decided to retire and downsize, so our first decision was to look into these beautiful apartments, we are so glad and excited about that decision because it's not only an amazing place to be able to retire in and enjoy this phase of our life,but we were giving an opportunity to meet one of the most caring and helpful apartment manager Brittney.
