I encouraged my daughter to start a Roth IRA so we went to her bank and set it up. In 18 months she earned 15 cents interest on $1,000. The employees there are working for M&T not you. They will not give you advice on how to grow your money. Very disappointing experience.
I have been a member of M&T for approx 6 yrs . I have had pleasant experiences each and every time I'm there. The loan officer named Barbara has always been extremely awesome and helpful. Very kind and courteous and personable. Going through the drive-thru does make me nervous when there's people walking up to the ATM that I never do use but I guess I'm paranoid that they're casing the drive-thru.
Horrible 800 customer service I'm 60 & my mom is 83 an we've been banking with m&t for over 50yrs!!!! Seriously considering moving are accounts to another banking nstitution
