It appears that an equally important element to the center (beyond medical treatment) lags far behind quite noticeably. There is a total lack of ability in processing the patients once they enter the office lobby to check in (or be able to make it known that the patient has arrived). and/or If a patient is in need of something that requires approval or an appeal, contacting the office and receiving a timely response from them can be very doubtful. This was my primary care facility for about 9 years. I knew it was horrible but didn’t feel like finding a new doctor. I finally left once I moved and I’m so glad that I did. They force you to be seen more than you have to be. You sit in the exam room waiting to be seen for over an hour on average. They frequently cancel your appointments. They always forget to fill your prescriptions… get ready to blow the phone up trying to get them filled. We had to take our German Shepherd to MSU vet hospital last week when he fractured both front legs. We don’t have children so this dog is our life. We drove 2 hours from home to get there not knowing what the prognosis would be. They took him through emergency and was in surgery for 2 very complicated fractures within 48 hours of arriving(that’s lightning fast compared to our other options). I am writing this on behalf of my mother. I very disappointed with the treatment my mom received today. She's been sick for the past month and has been trying to get an appointment to see/speak to her physician. Today, she spoke to the receptionist and the nurse. Neither showed any sympathy with my moms concern. In fact, the nurse was rude and accused my mom of non-compliance with a medication that had nothing to do with her problem.
