I had an interview scheduled with MSI LLC today at 2:30 pm. I applied via Indeed.com. Several reminders were sent to me including today, September 6th at 12:10 pm. Immediately after, I got a cancelation of the interview from MSI LLC with no reason why and no option to reschedule. I had to call MSI directly to find out why. The receptionist said they have decided to go another direction. I should have been transferred to the hiring department. I think human resources should have contacted me directly. Very unprofessio... read more

The HOA's activies save for snow clearing and lawn mowing are invisible. (Which one could hire a teenager to do for $100 bucks a month.) They just hiked rates by 12 percent - and residents of my community pay nearly $500 a month now. The exteriors (painting and fence repair) are long overdue.MOSTLY though, they arranged to have my motorcycle towed from a visitor's spot with one notification (which I did not see.) The fee was $642 for a once-off towing.THEY may not be responsible for the towing company's fees - but they are a... read more

Business response:

Should you have concerns regarding your community's towing policy I do recommend attending a Board meeting to present your concerns. Assuming you live in a community MSI works with, I cannot tell from the review, the association's monthly financials are available for review by all owners on the association's website.

******** Not impressed with MSI at all ! They Harass you to no end with Non compliance Letters ! Even if your Property is in Top shape ! But dont address other Properties that are clearly in Distress! They are all about control playing games with you ! I have lived here 15 year with no issues until now ! I pay to live in a nice neighborhood but its just control Freaks and Harassment!

MSI doesnt budget appropriately, they squander money and when they realize how low their reserves get they raise the *** fee by over $100 each time. They cant keep up with regular maintenance and that causes bigger issues to arise on the properties. They also pick and choose who to fine for decorations and items kept on front lawns and patios. They invade residents privacy, theyll renovate your fences and take feet away from your property, they try to reclassify the housing from one form to another(condos vs townhomes). They... read more

Business response:

Your review provides no information at all as to what community you live in or if indeed it is a community we manage. Regardless, we manage owners associations, which means that all of the issues you list are the responsibility of your elected board of directors. We do communicate on behalf of most of the community boards we serve, but the authority for all decisions rests with those boards, not with MSI. -*******************, President.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with Park It Right at Autumn Creek Condominiums has left much to be desired. Despite being a resident, I was blindsided by the sudden implementation of permit parking regulations, which apparently now include booting and towing cars. To make matters worse, it seems like even when residents have followed the rules and registered their vehicles, there's still a high chance of getting booted unjustly. I've heard firsthand from a neighbor who had all the right documentation, yet her car ended ... read more

Business response:

We understand that parking enforcement, although a necessity in a condominium community, can be frustrating. However, it simply isnt accurate that your elected board blindsided the community with the new parking enforcement. Two community-wide meetings were advertised and held discussing the parking enforcement plan, and those were followed by 10 different blast emails and community website posts warning of the plan before the enforcement began. You are also still openly invited, as any homeowner in the community is, to atte... read more

Exceedingly poor communication! When submitting a request to MSI the numerous requirements for making a request are withheld from the home owner or not sufficiently described, therefore, countless denials ase issued as MSI gives the home owner another single clue to what the next elusive requirement might be. It's a time consuming guessing game that threatens the fruition of a project. For example consuming time can eat up an entire season when building can take place. The delays can be financially harmful to the home owner ... read more

We have had MSI be the property manger for multiple properties we have owned. They seem to always resort to threatening community members. MSI should be avoided, as well as their community member, ***********************. **** only wants to harasses community members and try to threaten them

Business response:

The notices you are receiving are being sent on behalf of the elected board of directors for your HOA, and are in compliance with both state statute and HOA policy. You would be receiving the compliance notices being sent to you for improperly stored items regardless of whether MSI was your community management company, or another firm. I do strongly recommend getting involved in your HOA and attending meetings if you object to community policy and rules. Killing the messenger for the message with this posted complaint is no... read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!I must say, my experience with this HOA Management company has been nothing short of appalling. It's a sheer display of unprofessionalism coupled with a horrendous approach to customer service.Their Property Manager, *******************, is alarmingly inexperienced and utterly clueless when it comes to his role. His customer service skills are non-existent, and his empty promises are as infuriating as they are disappointing. Our HOA oversees 210 townhouses, and we have unfortunately entr... read more

Business response:

******, this is certainly the most civil communication we have seen from you as my staff has become accustomed to profanity and yelling from your phone calls, primarily. Between all of that very unconstructive conversations are attempts to clarify what the association is responsible for at your home, and what the builder and/or you are responsible for as your assumptions on both are not correct. We will continue to work with the community on issues related to the association common issues, and certainly prefer that you aim i... read more

Property and landscaping are not well cared for. Dues continue to rise. It is difficult to get an actual accounting of spending when requested and spending is not always efficient. I think that the person responding for MSI on this website is a prime example of why people are providing 1 star reviews. I have pasted the MSI response to another reviewer below: (Unkind, and unprofessional but typical in my experience of how MSI consistently speaks to homeowners in our community and handles concerns). Read through how MSI respon... read more
