Another business profiting from giving a vulnerable service in a de-sensitised manner. Profit driven and dehumanising. I found the operations, processes and policies given the services provided deplorable. I would recommend a local private GP or public hospital over MSI, dependant on service required. Their customer service personal aren’t equiped with the capacity to discern adequately and make ethical judgement calls based on the information presented at hand per individual case. Classic red tape and system driven bias.
Went to change my Mirena. Besides de delay (procedure schedule for 2.30pm and I was called at 3.30pm), the service was great. I had my mirena procedure with local aesthetic and had just 5 min of colic and discomfort, but the nurse was lovelly and talked to me to keep me calm and the Dr was quick and precise. Would definitely recommend the place.
Have been waiting 2 weeks for a medical abortion (pill) and was told today it would be at least 2 weeks before an appointment became available, at which point I would no longer be able to receive the service. It's almost as if they want you to have the surgical option or have unsuccessful treatments to make more money... the staff were unprofessional and unaware of any information regarding gestational periods and limitations on receiving prescriptions for treatment. Came in for a Mirena and the staff were so lovely and supportive. Even though the procedure was uncomfortable I felt supported and empowered the whole time.
