I am extremely disappointed with the way we were treated by Dr. Bryen during a very stressful and sensitive situation. My wife was experiencing signs of labor and bleeding, and she clearly explained that she was not comfortable being examined or having her baby delivered by a male doctor. We respectfully asked Dr. Bryen whether a female doctor could care for her. Instead of responding with empathy and understanding, Dr. Bryen’s attitude felt dismissive and rude. I delivered at Holy Cross which would not have been my first choice, however, this is where my OBGYNs were located and I love them! I would like to start by saying all my OBGYNs were fantastic and I have zero complaints about them. Unfortunately, the location of where they work is very below average. My water broke and I needed to have a c section due to my baby being breeched. I get into the OR and the CRNA could not get my epidural. She tried two different locations.
