UPDATE: My transmisson was rebuilt in November 2014 and failed in January 2016. I had only 14 months of use and 55,000 miles since the rebuild, in which Mr Transmission claimed they fully upgraded the transmission and it was now "better than new". The transmission shop that is currently rebuilding it said Mr Transmission did install a heavy duty torque converter and heavy duty clutches in 4th gear, but no other updates or upgrades were installed. LOVED this place!! I have a Jeep Patriot with a CVT transmission that began overheating and causing trouble! I first went to the dealer and they said it would cost me over $5,000!!!! ���� Took it into Mr. transmission and they were very helpful with any information about my transmission problems and honest!! Took my van in for a trasnission fluid and filter change. Cheaper than the "chains" and finished in half an hour!! Very friendly owner who explained everything. The service fixed my transmission issues! Great dealing with such a professional!
UPDATE: After 14 months Mr Transmission is definitely NOT worth the money!! Simply shady work. My transmission was COMPLETELY rebuilt at 50k miles and didnt last to 62k miles. Mr. transmission implied that my warrenty would be 3 YEARS, and amazing warrenty but for the price seemed legit. Now my transmission is out AGAIN and shops tell me to replace it because MR. transmission did dot it all less than 14 months ago. I recently took my 2005 ford mustang to get my transmission rebuilt! The service they gave me was outstanding, I would recommend it to anyone, my car runs better than when I bought it! Excellent job!
Recently my 05 Ford Explorers transmission failed after calling several Transmission repair shops in order to find out what it would cost to fix my truck, I got prices rangeing from $2200.00 to almost $3000.00. I finally called Mr. Transmission they offerd to tow my Explorer in for free, and tell me what it would cost to fix my truck. Mr. Transmission repaired my truck for only $1400.00. When I picked it up, it ran like new. I was very happy with the service provide by Mr. Transmission. I give them Five Stars.
Mr. Transmission did a fabulous job with my vehicle. They discussed all of the options for repair and let me decide what would be best for me without trying to persuade my decision. As a nursing student, price matters as well as having a dependable vehicle to get to and from classes. My car was fixed in the amount of time they said it would be and phone calls were always returned if I had questions. Fast Helpful Service – The people at Mr Transmission had me back on the road in no time with a quick replacement of a sensor. This after another shop near by quoted me a price of $2600.00 to rebuild the whole transmission...when I didn't even need one. I can't thank the employees of Mr Transmission enough for their help.
