while staying in Downtown Sandusky, we stopped in a Mr. Smith's for drinks one morning and returned for breakfast and drinks the next day. Breakfast sandwiches were excellent and my daughter enjoyed the hot chocolate!
Great coffee and food and staff! Love this locally owned place. Cozy and plenty of room to hang out and get some work done or grab a book off the shelf to read!
The absolute BEST coffeeshop! Their drinks and their food is always so delicious, the people are so awesome & welcoming, and they have beautiful artwork made by local artists (I'm always looking around the walls for new paintings!) Make sure you check out the bathrooms for some bomb artwork created by Kylee Frederick!! My boyfriend & I were looking for somewhere to eat lunch one day, settled on Mr. Smith's, & we rarely ever go anywhere else!! Just order their coco chillers, they will change your life!!🤣😊❤

my Husband and I just started going to this place, he was walking downtown and found it. The coffee is wonderful here and so many different choices, the sausage, egg and cheese croissant that I had was absolutely delicious, it was so buttery and flakey. The service is fast and friendly and eager to explain the menu and accommodate the costumers. We have found one of our new favorite spots, move over Starbucks there's a new kid in town lol.
Stopped in with a friend for coffee and was not disappointed. I tried one of the cappuccino muffins, which was delicious. The drink menu offers something for everyone with the extensive brew types and flavors/additions. There are several coffee offerings for take-home as well (by the pound). I chose the Snickerdoodle coffee beans to take with me, which I tried the next morning...… very good!
Love their lattes!!! Love the atmosphere!!!
