Yikes! Father's day brunch and it did now go well. Missing items, no sauce on burgers, and just greasy and gross. We told our server about all the issues and she didn't even take any charges off the bill!
Had an amazing experience! Even this picky Western foodie was impressed. They asked about allergies faster than I could say 'yum!' The food? Absolutely delicious.
Greatlred promptly and had great service. The was not very good. I had a lodge burger. The burger and fries both tasted like they were previously frozen. Burger was lukewarm when it arrived. Filling but not much flavour at all. My wife had the Saskatchewan Breakfast Bowl. The crispy onions were good the rest was pretty average. In addition the eggs were not properly scrambled but cooked in the pan and chopped up near the end of the cooking time. The comment from wife was "next Rockin Robins" even with a 40 minute wait.
While the service was decent, the portions were honestly shocking. I ordered the Bacon Mikeburger, and it was barely larger than the Lil Mikeburger and fries my nephew got from the kids menu. Two people at our table ordered the shaved rib eye dip, and if they had combined the meat from both sandwiches, it probably would have made one proper meal.
