My 2006 Dodge Charger began to overheat. After taking it to numerous of different mechanics I called mr mechanic! Brought in my Mini Cooper for spark plug replacement, was told that two of the plugs have been rounded off and they could not be replaced. Did not charge me anything even though they provided me with the knowledge of exactly what was wrong. Nice to find an honest Mechanic still around. I would recommend this establishment to everyone, just wished I lived closer, this would be my go to guy! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I went to Mr Mechanic last week because my car charger was not working, I had previously gone to him to replace my brakes and gotten excellent professional service.He told me that all I needed was a new fuse which he replaced promply and he did not even charge me for it. I trust Mr Mechanic and will recomend him to anyone I know. He is extremely knowledgable.
I randomly found Mr. Mechanic in a search online, but am glad I decided to bring my car in for a new muffler. Tony found out that the previous owner of my Toyota had jerry-rigged my exhaust system and it needed to be put back together. He showed me the mismatched parts and pieces, I have never seen anything like it. It was going to take longer than I expected, so he called a cab and gave me cab fare and had someone pick me up when the work was done. The price was fair and I trust his work.
I have been going to this location for years. Tony and his crew have always been upfront and honest. If they could not do the work, they gave good recommendations(transmission). Top notch work and people.
Tony at Mr.Mechanic in Southfield,Mi. is reasonable, trustworthy, reliable & honest. The work that he did on my 2009 Buick Enclave was amazing. From the brakes (with a life time warranty) the water pump (1 year warranty) & the tail lights which had a short in it & bulb replacement. Everything he said I needed was so...true. I have used Mr Mechanic on several occasions. I found him by using this site. Initially I typed in Auto Repair & Service in Southfield, but because I work 8-5 M-F, I refined my search by adding saturday hours. This was a big convenience for me but the other selling point was that they provide you with a cab ride home or free towing. But they are honest and don't charge you for things you don't need. 31 years in business obviously shows something. We have built our business on referrals, repeat customers and handshakes. On those rare occasions when a customer feels the need to lodge a complaint, we respond to their complaint because they deserve an answer. The only reviews we call out as fake are, well.......fake. We were going strong long before the the days of fake reviews and anonymous trolls and we will certainly outlast them.
