Safe, Affordable Housing in the city – My husband and I lived for 2 years in an apartment that MPB Properties Owned/Managed. The building was clean, secure and quiet. >?? – I have been hired to check on this renter and possable false made accounts. All these reviews are negative except for a couple that also seem to post negative comments on the negative posters. This renter is under investigation and so is MPB prop. IF he is the one making screen names such as "funtown" to post fake postive reviews charges will be brought. Hope fully my client will not have any more issues with this renter. Thank you
MPB PROPERTIES & MIKE BURNHAM IS A GREAT LANDLORD COMPANY – I have lived in one of MPB Property's buildings for 3 years now. I have had no problems. Our building is great and I really like living here. I highly recommend MPB Property's and Mike Burnham as a landlord. His company is very professional.
Why the slander from one disgruntled ex-tenant? – I was a tenant in one of MPB Properties buildings. The building was very nice and all of us were pleased with the services. I was searching for MPB properties to relocate back to Portland and found this site and am shocked to read the negativity. This person sounds like a young male with a 3rd grade mind and vocabulary ("scumbag", mpbsucks"). This is just plain wrong and vile. very sad. I will be calling Michael Burnham to hopefully find a nice apartment from him once again.
PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THE HATRED SPEWED HERE – I have lived in 3 of MPB Properties buildings because of relocations at my job. I have ALWAYS come back to MPB Properties. In my opinion, these negative reviews are all written by the same spiteful person. It should be illegal to slander a person in cyber land. All it takes is a keyboard and a small mind. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MPB PROPERTIES TO ANYONE WHO RENTS – I lived in an apartment owned by MPB Properties for many years and would highly reccomend them to anyone who's looking for an apartment. The building was always clean and well kept, maintenance was always right there if i needed help. Micheal Burnham was a great landlord and I had no problem getting my security deposit back when I moved. I would rent from them again anytime!
insects and Illegal seizure activity – First and Foremost, 8 months ago I was getting bites all over me during the night. I scoured my apt high and low to find anything that would cause such a thing to no avail. 4 months later I was informed by another tenant through elevator talk that the place was had Cimex lectularius. (look it up this post won't let me write it). I was never notified by management that there were any problems. Back again and do not need to hide under new name – I have to respond to the "person" and I use the term lightly, that complained about elevator down and never fixed, THAT IS A LIE. The elevator was being upgraded and is much nicer now. Of course, it had to be down for a short while. Our building is quiet, clean and as soon as I call MPB office, I have any maintenance needed done asap.
