Great Bar Scene Great bar/lounge setting. A lot of locals. Joe the bartender is a great conversationalist and a very creative 'mixologist'. The food at Mozambique can be pricey, but the flavors are unique and interesting. Dan the manager is very accommodating and knows the restaurant business.
Live music and great music...not to mention the food! Mozambique is a great spot for happy hour. They have drink and appetizer specials. Live music is playing a few times a week too. Skip the valet, and park for free up the street. Prices are good, especially during sunset hour. The menu is very large and has quite a variety. A perfect spot for dinner with a group of friends.
Great Views and Experience I loved this restaurant and the food and drinks offered on the menu were representative of the area and very good. We were upstairs and the view was incredible of the ocean. The staff are great and fun and attentive. It's located right off PCH and they offer valet parking (which is great since parking is so fdifficult in that area). Prices are a bit high but quality of the food and drinks are worth it.
Fun place This is a fun place with lots of events going on. They have live music on some nights (which makes the place rather loud). The interior looks very special and nice. The food is creative but not especially great. The service is very friendly but a bit slow.
We found our new favorite dining spot in Laguna Beach. Amazing experience, food options for a Happy Hour are extensive. My favorite dishes are Grilled Barramundi, Wood Grilled Chop House Steak and Grilled Calamari. I did not have any drinks, but they looked very goods.
This is a must do! Food is superb. Ambiance, Clean and Romantic if so inclined.

Cool place & hip crowd – I would've given 3 stars, but the place was pretty darn gorgeous, 3 stars just isn't sufficient. Interior & exterior design are very well-themed. For a place that looks teeny-tiny from the outside, they successfully made the place seems endless to explore. It felt like going on a mini safari, complete with pretty exotic birds, without lions & tigers. Their live music bands seem decent. We had a few drinks which were okay.
