great selection I love Moyer's. Not only are they in the heart of downtown State College, but they are in the hearts of Penn Staters everywhere. They have a special line of jewelry - rings and pendants mostly that feature the university mascot. They provide just one more opportunity to show off school spirit!
Moyer's Moyers Jewelers is a nice non-chain place to shop for jewelry. I went here for wifes engagement ring and the saleswoman worked with me to find the best diamond that fit mine and my now wifes specs, even though I was picky and went in there several times. No other place was patient with me like that and Moyers got my business.
store has nice selection, but one rude employee My husband and I went here to look at wedding rings. We had a male employee wait on us and he was very rude. (Condescending toward me, and deferred to my husband.) When I made a comment about how I knew what I wanted, he blew me off, ignored me, and then made a sarcastic comment that he seemed to think was amusing. I popped into the shop during Arts Fest to try on a large lion bracelet that I'd been eyeing online for a while. Everyone was so nice and they called me back within 2 business days with a quote for the item (they only had it available in store in silver, but got me quotes in 14k & 18k). The bracelet was ready exactly when they said it would be and shipping was super fast. I'm so happy not only with the bracelet, but also with my whole experience!
