Overall Good Move My situation: I had a two bedroom apartment completely packed with stuff...not only that, but heavy stuff. I knew I needed to hire movers since my new place is the top floor of a duplex with no elevator and maybe about 15-20 steps up. Henry recommended 3 movers at $90/hour.
These Guys Rocks! Simply to put: these guys ROCK! Pointed here and there with a bit of direction and they were on it in no time. Who wants to pack and wrap then do heavy lifting? Perhaps if you're getting paid, but why not stimulate the economy and let Moving on Up do it? I was a bit ravenous at the time so they said, "Sure, absolutely go grab a bite. We'll call you 5 min before we're done." Beautiful! Best part is, they all are a great help. Will use again...again...and again! Thanks Moving on Up

Will surely use in future We have used other moving companies in the past due to our line of work. But when it comes to dealing with Moving on up, they all pale in comparrison. They not only provide friendly and professional movers, the main office makes the scheduling a breeze. They have helped us out on many occasions and leave our residents smiling. They also went out of their way to make sure that they meet our deadlines so we can keep running smoothly. Our company will continue to use Moving on up for our future needs.
Friendly and Good Movers Cheap, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I'm bad at packing and had over stuffed some boxes--they reboxed and taped them up for me. Two men to do all the heavy lifting for me! I had new furniture at the store that needed to be picked up first, so they switched the schedule for me. They then loaded, padded and shrinkwrapped my antiques right from the store. They also wrapped my mattress and were careful not to open the door to the cat's room. Definetly Hire Them Again Very, very , sweet guy who underbid it a little. Moving on up had to go get a third person and a hand cart and then come back for my ancient (1935 electric) fridge. It looked easy to move but wasn't. I was a bit stumped by the fact that they came without a hand truck but they were so nice and worked so hard that I ended up throwing in some more cash. I would definitely hire them again.
Great Moving Company HIGHLY RECOMMEMD. These guys are amazing. I read the reviews for Moving On Up on the net, so we had pretty high expectations. And, after having moved here in the city with at least five other moving companies in the past, I must say that these guys are worth every penny and every 5 star rating they get on this site.
