Overall Mover was good I'm very happy with Moving On Up. I just finished a local move. The movers who came to my place were great. They did an excellent job. Everything happened on time, nothing was damaged, and they were very helpful. They did most of my packing for me and I thought they did a great job and they were quick.
will recommend to friends We found Moving On Up somewhat last minute. They showed up on time, had great attitudes and finished in record time without complaint. They were very affordable (2 houses within Hollywood to 1 house - $600 with tip), amazed us with their endurance (we are on the third floor -- they carried everything on their backs and kept running up the stairs), and were very careful with all of our fragile items. We will absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends.
Smooth and Easy Move I would like to thank the team manager of Moving On Up who guided the team so well while shipping my bike and other house-hold things. I was amazed to see his efficiency as a moving team lead. A long distance move could be a real trouble, but his efficiency made it smooth and easy.
Pleasure to work with him What a pleasure. I had multiple dealings with these guys from estimate, to moving, to storage, coordinating from out o town to delivery to my new place today. Courteous, every one of them cares about doing a good job, great attitude, cheerful, real pros. Highly recommend them. And on top of all that, they were reasonably priced. I'd pay more for them, but they don't charge it. I gave them a tip and they deserved it.
Awesome Movers This was the first time I've used movers, so I was a little nervous about allowing strangers to handle and move all of my stuff. I was concerned that the cost.. I called Moving On Up to find out everything about the move. Euell came to discuss and provide quote. He studied my belongings and prepared a list and estimated that it will take about 3 hours for the move and will need 2 guys for packing, Loading, and unloading and will cost me $300. Recommanded I decided to use Moving on up of their fabulous reviews, and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed one bit! The guys were SO nice and worked their butts off moving my furniture. I totally misjudged how much time it would take (totally my mistake) but they stayed until it was all done, and their prices were really reasonable (Trust me... I did lots of research...). Anyway...highly recommended...
Very Professional and capable Very professional and capable. We moved two different apartments into a new apartment (3 locations) in the pouring rain. It was probably the worst day of the year to move and these guys did a fantastic job. They knew exactly what they were doing, were very considerate to the furniture and to us, and were very customer-service oriented. We had three movers and they were all really great. I would recommend them without any reservation.
Staff was wonderful Your staff was wonderful, they arrived on time, very friendly, put me at ease right away. Got to Hollywood before rush hour, every thing was put in its place, and there were no hidden charges at the end, you can't get any better than that. Overall Good Move My situation: I had a two bedroom apartment completely packed with stuff...not only that, but heavy stuff. I knew I needed to hire movers since my new place is the top floor of a duplex with no elevator and maybe about 15-20 steps up. Henry recommended 3 movers at $90/hour.
